Judges Q & A

The book of Judges can be a hard and confusing book to read.

When we read the book of Judges, we can easily become disgusted (there are many difficult accounts to read) or find it hard to see the good in the stories of the Israelite people.

In Judges, the Israelites had a cycle of ignoring God, sinning, crying out to God, repenting –  rinse and repeat.

It came down to a heart issue for the Israelites. Their hearts desired worship, but they were looking in all the wrong places.

Ultimately, the book of Judges shows us that God desires true worshippers.

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."
JOHN 4:23
